LPE is pleased to announce it has secured a new $7.2 million banking facility with Westpac, marking a significant milestone in the company’s capital management strategy and positioning it for continued growth.
The secured facility consolidates LPE’s existing debt arrangements into a single banking relationship, delivering a lower cost of debt, extended funding terms and greater capital efficiency as the company advances its expanding development pipeline.
The three-part facility includes:
- $3.0 million Project Funding Facility with a five-year term and redraw capability
- $3.7 million Line of Credit with an initial three-year interest-only period and flexibility to convert into longer-term project finance
- $500,000 Revolving Equipment Finance Facility
The refinancing follows a period of strong growth for LPE. In July, the company announced three new residential development partnerships that will contribute more than 3,000 new homes and 4,700 energy and water service connections across 18 sites, representing approximately $5.8 million in capital investment.
As part of the transaction, LPE will refinance and fully repay its existing Roadnight Capital Growth Facility, ending a funding partnership that has supported the company’s growth journey to date.
LPE Chair Craig Chambers said the facility represents a deliberate step forward in the company’s long-term strategy.
“This facility consolidates LPE’s borrowings into a single arrangement at a lower cost of debt and a longer tenor. This is a deliberate step in our capital strategy. Aligning our funding with infrastructure assets, strengthens the balance sheet and positions LPE to convert its growth pipeline into recurring revenue.”
With a growing portfolio of residential infrastructure projects, LPE says the new funding arrangement provides a solid platform to support the next phase of expansion.
