How does it Work?
LPE’s Solar for Embedded Networks is made up of a Solar PV system and the necessary metering infrastructure designed and sized to provide the community with renewable energy to meet the common area and residents’ daytime usage.
LPE are at the forefront of innovative electricity supply solutions for Strata Communities and have developed a model where a Solar PV system can deliver cost reduction to the Body Corporate’s common area electricity bill based on solar electricity generated onsite. Electricity charges to apartment occupants remain the same as the current signed embedded energy schedule.
Simply, LPE will fund, supply, install, and maintain the solar PV system. Solar electricity generated is metered and a rebate based on the total system generation is applied against the Body Corporate’s common area electricity bill – providing savings and an equitable outcome for all owners.
