LPE has a hardship support program. It’s available to LPE residential customers who are experiencing a temporary or long-term financial difficulty that is making paying their electricity bills difficult.

Eligible Customer Hardship Support Program customers receive advice and support from a dedicated consultant, skilled in dealing with customers in hardship. Trained to providing customers with the highest level of service.  See our Hardship Policy and Program for more information or call;

Standard Fee Schedule

Late Payment Fee Fixed Rate $14.00, this will be applied when payment in full is not received by the due by date. This amount is not subject to GST
Direct Debit Dishonour Fee Fixed Rate $8.00, this will be applied when LPE attempt to process a payment authorised by you and LPE receive a dishonour notification from your bank. This amount is not subject to GST
Reminder Notice Fixed rate of $4.50 for a single first reminder notice to you by LPE for an unpaid bill. This amount is inclusive of GST
Disconnection Fee If your premise is disconnected/reconnected (e.g. when you move in or out) a disconnection/reconnection fee may apply. These fees do change from time to time.
If your premise is disconnected/reconnected for non-payment of a bill, you will be charged a fee/s and advised of the fee prior to disconnection.
Reconnection Fee
Paper Bill Fee Fixed rate of $1.75 for each bill sent by LPE to you by post. This amount is inclusive of GST
Post Billpay Fixed rate of $2.10 for each bill you pay over the counter at Australia Post. This amount is inclusive of GST
Credit Card Payment Fee a fee of 1.1% (inclusive of GST) is applicable for payments made with a credit card. Other fees may be applied by your bank
