ASX-listed Locality Planning Energy Holdings (LPE) has acquired PowerHub Pty Ltd, adding up to 76 sites and 4,642 service points to its embedded network portfolio and expanding its operations into Tasmania and South Australia.
The acquisition strengthens LPE’s national footprint, adds scale to its contracted development pipeline and supports the Company’s long-term growth strategy across residential and commercial markets.
LPE Chair Craig Chambers said the transaction reflects the Company’s disciplined approach to growth.
“PowerHub extends LPE’s platform into new regions and adds scale to an already contracted pipeline. The Board approved this acquisition against the same disciplined capital criteria we apply to every investment, and it is a further step in the growth plan we have set out to the market.”
The PowerHub portfolio includes 30 active sites with 1,697 active service points, 187 contracted service points expected to go live by September 2027, and a further 46 pipeline sites representing 2,758 service points. Combined, the acquisition increases LPE’s portfolio by 18.9% in sites and 11.6% in service points.
These figures exclude the SPs announced on 15 July 2026 as part of the three residential development partnerships expanding LPE’s FY27 growth pipeline.
Beyond geographic expansion, the transaction adds a contracted pipeline that supports future capital investment and recurring revenue opportunities, while strengthening LPE’s position as an integrated multi-utility services company (MUSCo).
LPE CEO Scott Taylor said the acquisition aligns strongly with the Company’s strategy.

LPE will work closely with PowerHub’s team, developers, body corporates and community operators to ensure a smooth transition, with transitional services continuing through 30 September 2026.
The acquisition builds on LPE’s established track record of delivering utility infrastructure for residential and commercial developments and reflects growing demand for integrated energy solutions that support communities from planning through to long-term operation.
