Ergon Customer Update

Important information regarding your LPE electricity account.

Dear Valued Customer,


We wanted to take the time to say thank you for supporting LPE. However, at this time we need to say goodbye as LPE is no longer competitive servicing the Ergon region.    

Rather than placing additional financial pressure on you, our customer, through further costs, we have made the difficult decision to stop servicing customers in the Ergon region. Our electricity per kWh charge will need to be materially higher than what Ergon can offer you. 

LPE New Rates & Charges (from 1st June 2022)

On 1 June 2022, we are increasing your c/kWh usage rate by over 100%. 

You will receive a Price Change Notification outlining your current and new pricing shortly. 

Where to from here?

Within the next 24 hours, we encourage you to seek an alternative supplier, and we strongly recommend Ergon. You can still review and choose your electricity provider via, the Government-run website which enables you to compare electricity providers. 

This was not an easy decision to make but as always, our customers are our priority. As a local business, we understand the financial pressures families are currently facing and we did not want to have to materially increase our prices which would have added to this stress. 

LPE will continue to provide solar and strata services, which we are known for. 

Importantly we will continue to support many of the community activities we are involved in and look forward to making a positive difference where we can.
