Bodies Corporate are constantly exploring viable ways to become a more sustainable energy community of the future. Onsite Renewable Energy generation has been out of reach for many strata schemes due to shared infrastructure issues, complications on how to make the solution equitable for all owners, as well as the potential large solution costs.
Dealing with these complications, whilst also achieving a suitable return on your investment has meant that many strata communities simply have not been able to benefit from solar as they cannot find a way to make it viable – until now.
How does it Work?
LPE’s Solar for Embedded Networks is made up of a Solar PV system and the necessary metering infrastructure designed and sized to provide the community with renewable energy to meet the common area and residents’ daytime usage.
LPE are at the forefront of innovative electricity supply solutions for Strata Communities and have developed a model where a Solar PV system can deliver cost reduction to the Body Corporate’s common area electricity bill based on solar electricity generated onsite. Electricity charges to apartment occupants remain the same as the current signed embedded energy schedule.
Simply, LPE will fund, supply, install, and maintain the solar PV system. Solar electricity generated is metered and a rebate based on the total system generation is applied against the Body Corporate’s common area electricity bill – providing savings and an equitable outcome for all owners.

Our Process
LPE work with you from the early planning stages through to installation to ensure your solution is fit for purpose. We are responsible for the shared solar system’s design, supply, installation and ongoing maintenance.
LPE facilitates and co-ordinates the supply and installation of the solar solution on behalf of the building owner/s. We supply, install and maintain the entire solar PV system at no upfront cost for your body corporate, owners or occupiers. We recover our costs by selling electricity to customers through an energy supply contract.
LPE provides the Body Corporate an easy-to-understand electricity bill for the common area that clearly shows all standard electricity usage, as well as the solar generated electricity in the form of a rebate.
